Classic Bronze Show Car

$350.00

In the 1930s and 40s, Delahaye, the French, family-owned car company, produced some amazing automobile designs. They embodied futuristic design elements that still hold up today. Swooping fenders hid the wheels, and it sat so low to the ground it made you wonder how you could even drive it. I'd been eyeing these jewels online for several years. I knew I'd get around to making my own impression of these works of art someday.

So a year ago, I started sketching and sculpting a clay model that would become my new "Show Car." After many starts and stops, I've made all the patterns, and now I am introducing my version of these famous cars.

15” L x 6.3/8” W x 3” H
