Cityscapes

Flying is most stimulating for me because I get to see the earth from above. To take something we think we know so well and just change the viewpoint empowers me to create. These are impressions of landscapes of the mind in three dimensions with color and texture as I choose. They are made of sand cast aluminum as well as poured polyurethane resin.

One of my greatest honors was to have one of my cityscapes hand at the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. I was selected in a national art competition with the theme, "Looking at Earth."
